How to get nice feet
By Sasinib
Feet are some of the most ignored parts of our bodies. We abuse them by squeezing them into high heels, and at the end of the day, our feet do not seem to be a pretty sight. Dry cracked heels are also a huge deterrent from keeping your feet pleasing to the eye. Especially during the summer time, where we all love to wear fancy sandals and open toed heels for special occasions, it is important that our feet are kept beautiful and smooth.
There are many methods to taking care of your feet. However, it is important to remember the basics - exfoliate and moisturize. And of course, be sure to remember the nails! Nail care with a pedicure will work wonders for your skin. And the best part is that you do not have to go to a nail salon to get beautiful feet - you can do all of this at home!
Exfoliating your feet
This is an absolutely important step to getting pretty feet. You can exfoliate feet by getting a rough loofa and by massaging the feet with a foot scrub. Try a foot scrub that has great reviews - the Dr. Scholl foot smooth shower scrub works wonders! Before exfoliating, be sure to soak your feet in some warm water so that your feet can be more easily exfoliated. After the exfoliation treatment, wash your feet again with warm water, and then rinse them again with cold water. This will complete the foot exfoliation process. Remember that now they also have scrubbing brushes for feet!
Did you know?
More and more nail salons are starting to rely on Garra rufa (aka doctor fish or nibble fish) to help ease the foot exfoliation process. Mostly found in the middle east, these fish love to eat away dead skin cells. All people have to do is stick their feet in the fish pool and wait for an amazing exfoliating process to begin. (The fish are quite harmless - they are supposedly toothless.) Many people swear that these fish also cured psoriasis after getting a full body treatment, but this is only a temporary relief according to doctors.
Moisturizing your Feet and Taking care of Nails
Moisturizing feet is extremely important if you do not want dry heels and flaky skin. After exfoliating, wipe off your feet and apply a moisturizer generously. Eucerin intensive repair foot cream works absolute wonders! Mixing in Petroleum Jelly will leave your feet feeling ultra smooth and silky. Now you should have gorgeous, beautiful feet that you can show off using the best sandals and open toed heels available. If you really want to complete the look, you should never forget painting your nails. To strengthen the nails, women have scrubbed garlic juice on them and it has worked miracles. Cut your nails, file them and paint them using beautiful colors and designs for a beautiful over-all look.
Some EXTRA tips
1. Be careful with high heels. Unfortunately, high heels are one of the biggest causes for unsightly bunions and calluses. Exfoliate daily to get rid of calluses, but remember prevention is better than cure.
2. For extra care when wearing high heels, be sure to go with Dr. Scholl's gel soles. This will keep calluses at bay and give your feet great comfort.

I would love to try the Garra rufa, it might be tickly!
By the way, high heels are not that bad, you can wear them everyday and still have beautiful feet if you take appropiate care of them. I find that a good foot massage at the end of the day really keeps feet "happy" and healthy.
